Since graduating in 2008 with a BA (HONS) Degree in Scenic Arts from Rose Bruford College I have been working as a scenic artist within the theatre and entertainment industry as well as being a production and installation specialist within a large scale creative installation design company. Whilst studying for my degree I picked up many practical skills relating to construction and general theatre practises which aid me as a painter.

My experience in the theming and installations industry has given me experience working in all weather conditions, I also have my IPAF 3a 3b qualification enabling me to work at height. I am able to adapt to the situation required to work in quickly and efficiently. I am based in Greater London with good transportation links.

I work well both in a team and independently and have taken on many managerial roles whilst studying for my degree and in a professional capacity, often job leading or junior job leading during installations and production or heading up a team of scenic artists. Recently undertaking a paint tutoring position at Rose Bruford college, supporting students in show roles as well as introducing first year students to various painting techniques.

I have worked as a themer, painting for 2 rides/attractions at Thorpe Park Based around the ‘Saw’ films. These were both large scale projects and meant the complete theming of the area around the roller coaster and queue areas for ‘Saw:The Ride’, and the creation of a live action horror maze based on the films in the Saw series for ‘Saw Alive- the live action horror maze’. As well as work for Dubai parks- dreamworks in Dubai.Working outside in the winter months as well as the heat of the middle east provided plenty of challenges but I enjoyed overcoming them to finish the work.
